Why Do Cameras Flip Your Face Do a FaceTime call with anyone and look at lettering on anything from a T-shirt to something in the background. You have always seen a mirror image of yourself and have gotten used to it. On a smartphone both selfies and video calls taken on the front-facing camera re-flip our image thus presenting ourselves with the version the outside world sees. Why doesnt Microsoft teams have this simple feature to rotate the view 90 degrees.
The differences are subtle but your brain is an anxious idiot. Now if selfie distortion warps the face you can be sure it warps the body as well making the upper body appear larger or smaller or misshapen. On an iPhone both selfies and ZoomFaceTime calls taken on the front-facing camera re-flip our image thus presenting ourselves with the version the outside world sees.
If there is there may be options within this program that will allow you to customise the view and in this case flip it.
I have an additional external USB camera which is a cheap Logitech C270 and after having installed the Logitech software I discovered that the image is still mirrored in the Teams video session but NOT in the default Windows camera application. Why Do Cameras Flip Your Face You have always seen a mirror image of yourself and have gotten used to it. I dont know why the Windows camera software reverses the image when saving it but it does. Why doesnt Microsoft teams have this simple feature to rotate the view 90 degrees.
